The Clark County Health Dept, in cooperation with the Hoosier Hills AIDS Coalition, administers the HIV/STD Program.  Based out of their jointly located office in Jeffersonville, comprehensive and intergraded services are provided to the citizens of Clark, Floyd and 9 surrounding counties in southeast Indiana.

Programs

HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing - HIV and STD testing available Monday through Friday by appointment only.  Picture identification required for STD testing .  $10 donation.
STD Clinic - Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases.  Clinics are always held on Tuesday afternoons, no exceptions.  Call for an appointment.  Picture identification required for STD testing. $10 donation.
Special Populations Support Program -  Provides substances abuse case management and services to HIV+/AIDS clients.  Education programs are available to drug treatment facilities, jails/prisons, youth shelters, schools, etc.  Testing on-site when appropriate.
Disease Intervention - Counsels on the Indiana Code IC 12-41-7 Duty to Warn law.  Provides confidential partner notifications and HIV Prevention Education information.  Provides referrals to Care Coordination and outside agencies as needed. 
Hoosier Hills Clinic -  Outpatient medical care available for HIV+/AIDS clients with no health coverage.  Care is provided by the U of L WINGS Clinic.  Must be referred by a Care Coordinator and is by appointments only. *Pharmacist and Lab corps onsite*
HIV Care Coordination - Case Management for HIV+/AIDS clients in accessing benefit programs.
  

AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)- Indiana State Department of Health program.  Coverage for obtaining AIDS related prescriptions and other related medications.
Early Intervention Plan (EIP) - Indiana State Department of Health Program.  Provides limited medical coverage for clients without insurance.
Indiana Comprehensive Health Insurance Association (ICHIA) - High risk insurance coverage for residents of Indiana.
Health Insurance Assistance Program (HIAP) - Indiana State Department of Health Program.  Pays insurance premiums, deductibles, and co-payments for individuals on ICHIA.
Direct Emergency Financial Assistance (DEFA) - Emergency assistance needs- rent/utilities, medications, food, transportation, etc.
Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA) -  Housing assistance, must meet HUD and Section 8 requirements.
